Regents Business School requested leadership, team building and training workshops for their second year international students in Human Resource Management. Additionally, selected graduate and senior students have been invited to participate in the training to enhance their skills and self development.
Testimonial
"Since 1998 Bramley Lakes has been a training ground for Regents Business School London. Students from our undergrads and graduate programmes have often voiced their great satisfaction in the leadership, teambuilding and communication skills learned at Bramley. Many have often asked to return to further their coaching skills too. All who have attended have said how valuable they found what they learned about themselves, each other and management skills. The School finds the training very meaningful in providing a strong foundation for the HR Management module and a great catalyst to underpin all it's learning objective requirements.
We have worked very well with the Bramley Lakes team - their professionalism, insights, commitment and dedication have been outstanding in supporting and running our experiential training programme, which builds on the students' ability to work and support each other as a team and to develop an improved degree of self awareness as our students are from many parts of the world. Bramley's understanding towards our multi-cultural student groups is superb. This has enabled the students to better understand each other and perform at a consistently high level upon their return and to take their learning into their own lives."

John Lewis Branches at High Wycombe and Reading recently ran seperate launch events for their newly elected Partner Forum members.Toojays were invited by High Wycombes Managing Director, Tony Wheeler and Readings Managing Director, Gordon Stenton to facilitate their respective events this month.

The Forum members will be responsible for driving the future of the branches, working with the Senior Management to help identify and focus attention on key branch issues. The Forum members have all been elected into the roles from their fellow partners (staff). The events were a combination of developing awareness of the competion, team building and understanding the business for the 120 attendees.

Jon Pulford, Matt Martyn and Toojays MD, Lee Martin were involved in facilitating development sessions and activities to focus the groups on the behaviours required in order to make the Forum process a success. The events were a great success, with attendees commenting on their enjoyment and the value they got from the days.

Toojays were delighted to support Caterpillar UK Shared Services Conference in Peterborough earlier this month. The event was held to help individuals and teams focus on their strategy for 2008 and beyond with a the focus on "it's a marathon not a sprint" - in terms of customer relationship and service. On the day the attendees listened to key note speakers emphasising the importance of the organisations values.Toojays provided further opportunity for individuals to 'live' those values and experience the behaviours needed for successful goal achievement with the company.Led by Toojays facilitator Jon Pulford, the teams were tasked with completing the 'Rollerball' exercise.Lisa Young, UK Learning and Development Manager commented 'I think there is great potential in this exercise helping us teach process improvement.'
