He is joined by last season’s caretaker coach, Dave Smith, who takes on the role of backs coach, while Tim Malone also returns to Walsham as forwards coach. A further two coaching appointments are expected shortly.John Farrer, said: “There is a real feeling of optimism around the club now after the disappointments of last season. The appointment of Nick, Dave and Tim to these crucial roles will give us an incredibly powerful coaching team on which to build a winning rugby side for 2008/9. Nick and Tim have nearly 500 cup and league appearances for North Walsham between them and have just guided Wymondham through a fantastic season, leading them to 20 wins out of 20 in Eastern Counties 1. All three already work together coaching Eastern Counties so we know that this is a winning combination.”In addition, Jon Pulford is fitness coach and Ian East SAQ coach.
